About Me:
I am a retired 64 year old widow...I have 3 married children...6 Grands with one on the way and my first Great Grandchild due in June. I have a wonderful family.
I love to crochet for charities...travel...listen to The Oldies and read.
Tell a little about the person lost...
I lost my Loving Husband of 38 years to non-hodgkins lymphoma...he was a retired over the road truck driver.
I was his sole caregiver for 9 1/2 years. Then I lost my Dear Father who died suddenly...SO this kind of left me a widow and an orphan as my Precious Mother was killed 24 years ago in a tragic accident. Life has been very hard as then I was diagnosed with 3rd stage aggressive breast cancer.
How did you find My Loving Tribute?
I am not sure...

Hello There:

Welcome to the Healing Community.

"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.

That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....

We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?

It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.

This is your site. Feel free to explore at your own pace.... and contribute thoughts, prayers, photos, music and videos as you feel is best.

I am here to help you in any way possible. If you have any questions at all...please let me know.

Hi Caroline and welcome to this lovely community - though I am so sorry you have a reason to be here. I am so sorry for your losses and also for your own diagnosis of breast cancer. That must have been so much more difficult having just lost your husband - I hope you have a good support system around you.
My daughter died in 2001 - she had a rare and uncureable genetic disorder called fanconi anaemia - this June will be the 7 year anniversary of her passing. She has been inspiring me and helping me to move onwards with the knowledge that we will be reuinted one day. I try to pass these inspirations on to others who are going down this long and lonely road of grief and hope that some will be useful to you.
Take care Carolyn and know that I am always here anytime you need a friend or shoulder to cry on.
God bless
love Gail x
