I am a bereaved mother. I have one other child, a son Chris that will turn 31 this year. I have a grandson that is 8. I am a nurse and have been all my life. I have always worked critical care areas and one would think that I would have some sort of preparation for an incident such as this, but there is none. It breaks your heart and scars your soul forever.
Tell a little about the person lost...
My only daughter was killed in a tragic car accident when she was 21. She was hit head on without warning and killed at the scene. She was a senior at Oklahoma University. She wanted to be a sports writer. She was who's who among american high school students 3 years in a row. She was a soloist with 8 years of voice training, she was a sunday school teacher. She was a beautiful girl. Please feel free to visit her website at: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/8928/Kere1.html
Janna, Wow life in an RV, I admire you girl! I will call you soon. I guess that I should tell you my daughter Erica's best friend is Kerry also. I am lucky to have her as a friend and "other daughter". She was in Sara's wedding, she is a lovely girl. We are having a House Blessing this weekend for Kerry, she and her family have moved into Erica and Scott's home. So far, so good. No weird activities yet. I will post it on my blog.
Nobody gets the greif we Mom's feel. Sara, Kerry my husband Tony and I all talk about them all the time. I guess people think that is sort of Morbid, but it makes me feel close to them. I know she is here with me as is Nathan and Olivia. The other day Nathan gave me a small shimy pebble, I found it in an old bathing suit of his when I was clenaing out the closet. Made me very happy, he was a precious little "BullHeaded" fellow. He was really my husbands favorite, he and Tony got eaqch other. A boy thing I guess.
Have a great weekend and don't work too hard! Love Ya, Pam
Hi Janna, Just checking in...Haven't heard from many people lately. Just thinking of you, I wondered if you were getting any of the thunder people talk about down in OK. I have only experienced the Texas sized storms in Austin, what a lot of noise! We are hanging in here. I am hoping to do an Anderson website soon. My friend that designs those is moving really close to me, so we can work on it in our "leisure" time. I just love how pretty your site looks. There is going to be a house blessing at my daughters old house this weekend. Luckily, the weatjer is supposed to remain cool. Drop me a line when you have a moment! Hugs, Pam
Thanks Janna, We did have an Erica moment when Sara's veil fell from her head. It looked like someone plucked it from her hair and it just drifted to the ground. Kerry and I were very sure at that moment Erica was there. I wish with all my heart that they were, I am sure that they were in some way, Hugs, Pam(mother of the Bride)
Thanks Janna, Survived the wedding and it was gorgeous. Sara looked like a dream, it was a beautiful day! Erica was there in spirit, Sara's veil was plucked out of her hair, Kerry and I know it was Erica! What a lot of fun they had. Off to the Oregon coast for the Honeymoon, Russ and Sara are relaxing which is great! Check out the new photos if you have time, XOP
What a sweet person you are! Thank you so much for the pretty flowers! I hope your doing well! We just need to take each day as it comes! I am going to visit your daughter's website!
Hi, Janna! Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I've been out of town for a week with no Internet hook up. Thanks so much for your interest in my services! I keep my pricing affordable: $45 for 30 minutes of medium work and $75 for 1 hour. Money-back guarantee of contact. And you can find more info on my web site: JaniceCarlson.com
My web site will tell you more. Thanks again!
Janna; Thank you so much for visiting Kurt's sites. It is almost 4 years since I saw my babies awesome blue eyes and I am so miserable without him. My computer was fried during the storms last week and I won't have it back until after his angelversary and that is going to be hard to handle.
The only things that have helped me are the amazing people I have met on here who are going through what I am.
13 years, I admire you. I'm not sure I can say in 11 years that I will be where you are, but you give me hope.
God Bless you my friend and thank you again.
xxoo Susan
Janna, I don't think any Mother is ever ready to loose a child. This is the hardest and most heartbreaking thing I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning phase, we may have a trial in the near future. But nothing seems to make any of this easier, but we go on. My other daughter is getting married this weekend. I hope the weather holds out!
Your daughter sounds a lot like mine. Good student, great kid, ressponsible. I don't understand why the good lord takes the "Great ones" and leaves our lives in shambles. My son-in-law and the darling grandchildren were all just such great people, what a loss. I hope that we can all support each other somehow! Write me when you want, I will try to be here for you. Nursing is such a wonderful career! Hugs, Pam
