- Hello, my name is Kerry (Haughey) Horner. I grew up in the Carnation/Duvall area. I am a mother of 4 great kids. Rob-17, Jaycee-13, Kailey-11 and Justin-8. I am a community manager for Elderly/Disabled apartment complex. I have the greatest fiancee, Tim, if not for him I do not think I could have made it through the last six months.
- Tell a little about the person lost...
- Erica Jean Mantle Anderson. We met in 7th grade at Tolt Jr/Sr High school. It did not take long for us to become inseperable.
She was killed Christmas eve 2007, along with her husband Scott, her children Olivia 5 and Nathan 3 and Scott's parent, Judy and Wayne.
Scott's sister and her boyfriend are curently being charged (they have confessed) with their murders.
Not a day goes by that I do not think about Erica. A song, a movie, even a familiar laugh can snap me into some random thought or memory of my best friend. Erica was more than a best friend to me, she was the sister I always wanted and never had. She was the first phone call of the day even after 20 years.
The last few years I was lucky to live within a few miles of Erica and I am so thankful I was blessed with being so close to her before she was taken from us.
With every day that passes I pray the pain and loss will subside, I find comfort in the wonderful memories I selfishly call my own, yet am tortured that there will be no more.

shock is wearing off, reality setting in,
searching for the strength, to bid fair well my dearest friend,
I swamp my self with tasks, mundane to say the least,
trying to find a way, to push away the grief,

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I also welcome you to this fantastic community of friends called My Loving Tribute. Since I have joined I have met many gracious, kind, and loving people from literally all over the world whom it seems now that I have known forever.
I encourage you to add as many friends as possible and when you can take some time to read the BLOGS, join the discussion groups, or simply just watch some of the fantastic memorial videos that are posted here.

Welcome to the Healing Community.
"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.
That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....
We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?
It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.
