- About Me:
- I am a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and a sister. I am also a good friend to those who want me to be.
I have spent many years researching the genealogy of my husband's Bishop family, and at times, have spent many hours and days trying to unravel my own. My major lines consist of the surnames Mayo, Bandy, Crawford, Whittlesey, Miller, Maxwell, Loflin. Many others related of course. I inherited my love of genealogy I believe, from my maternal grabdmother, Averil Crawford Bandy, who passed away when I was six months old. I also never got to meet her husband, Fred Bandy, he died 2 years before I was born. I never got to meet my paternal grandmother either, Alva Maxwell Mayo, she passed away in 1949 of breast cancer.
I am heavily involved in, besides my genealogy, the findagrave commu nity, (see below), Myspace, see link below, supporting many many worthwhile and near and dear to my heart causes. I hope ypou'll join me on some of these other sites.

- Tell a little about the person lost...
- I lost my 3 1/2 week old grandson in 1999, then my mother in November of 2001, and my father in 2002. We lost my husband's grandmother Jan 4, 1998. We lost his first cousin the day after we buried our grandson. There are many others as well. They are all sadly missed.
