I'm a very creative person. I'm a freelance artist, a seamstress, and I love bellydancing when I can get around to it. I'm married with a beautiful little boy named Seth. My life seemed to change dramatically just before she went - and after. She didn't make it to see her grandson born into the world.
Tell a little about the person lost...
My mom over a year ago. Her name was Becky. She was a very self sacrificing and hard working. She pushed for our education, growing up as kids. She was talented and gifted. She loved animals.
We had seen her demise coming for quite a number of years. She had been an alcoholic and suffered from severe depression. Finally, her liver gave out last year at the age of 52. It was the most unbearable pain I had ever experienced watching her die and then finally seeing her in her coffin, just like a dream I had experienced three years prior.
My husband and I wed just 2 days before she died in the nursing home on the last night she was conscious. My son was born 6 months after her death.
I fight with constant depression all the time, and I think of suicide often - I don't know how many times I've just wanted to throw in the towel just so I can be with her and stop hurting. There are only 2 things stopping me, and that's my husband and my son.
I talk to her all the time, and I know she hears me. I know she's looking out for us, I just wish she could have stuck around longer.

Thank you for you kind words of support... I see that you are a very passionate person.. You will have a great deal to offer others. And I pray that you can find a little peace for your heart here too.
"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.
That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....
We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?
It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.
This is your site. Feel free to explore at your own pace.... and contribute thoughts, prayers, photos, music and videos as you feel is best.
I am here to help you in any way possible. If you have any questions at all...please let me know.
