I am 44 years old and the single mother of three children. I live in Georgia and I work at the local Air Force Base. I have lived in Georgia my entire life.
Tell a little about the person lost...
My most tragic loss is the suicide of my brother, Ted. He was the kindest and most generous person. Life just got too much for him and he chose to take his own life. My grief has lightened somewhat with time, but there are days it feels like it just happened all over again. I love and miss him tremendously.
I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I also welcome you to this fantastic community of friends called My Loving Tribute. Since I have joined I have met many gracious, kind, and loving people from literally all over the world whom it seems now that I have known forever.
I encourage you to add as many friends as possible and when you can take some time to read the BLOGS, join the discussion groups, or simply just watch some of the fantastic memorial videos that are posted here.
If you feel there is ever any way that I can be a support and help to you please do not hesitate to let me know.
Hi Tracy,
Thankyou for your friend request.
I'm sorry to hear about your brother!
My Brother-In Law took his own life,
and so added to the grief you feel,
is also the question- could I have done more to prevent this?
I have come to the conclusion that it is a choice that they made, rightly or wrongly, but it was theirs to make , so we just have to accept that.
The feeling of guilt is a normal part of grieving for anyone, but seems much worse in that situation.
I know that your brother would not want you to blame yourself in any way!
Just send him your love wherever he is,
I do not believe that our loving Heavenly Father will punish him for not being able to cope- it's a hard life for some people!
Lots of Love
Jeanne

Thanks for the contact. I've been browsing the site, reading what people say about their loss and familiarizing myself with how to accept ("let go of"?) pain.
I am sorry Ted committed suicide. Do you feel comfortable posting a photograph of him?
"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.
That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....
We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?
It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.
This is your site. Feel free to explore at your own pace.... and contribute thoughts, prayers, photos, music and videos as you feel is best.
I am here to help you in any way possible. If you have any questions at all...please let me know.
Hi Tracy,
So Sad you have a need to be here, but welcome anyway!
It's a great place to come to terms with your 'loss'.
Everyone is so kind and helpful, providing loads of support.
We pray that you will soon feel much better about what is a natural progression of life!
God Bless you and your family.
Lots of Love
Jeanne
