About Me:
I've been a Registered Nurse for 34 years & an avid child advocate for the last 10 years. I live in Las Vegas, NV, & work locally, statewide & nationally for "Shaken Baby Syndrome & Child Abuse Prevention" as well a safe childcare, prevention of domestic violence & education for all levels of providers.
Tell a little about the person lost...
My 14 month old grand daughter, Kierra Ashlie Danielle Harrison, was shaken and slammed to death in March of 1997. She was a bright & beautiful little girl who we had the brightest hopes for the future. My committment to be a child advocate, stems from a promise that I made to this sweet angel as she was taken to the operating room to donate organs!

A Special Thought For Mother's Day

Kierra was a first born daughter, of a first born daughter, of a first born daughter. Such a difficult legacy for such a young child to bear, and one that she lived with all it's worth during her short 14 months with us.

It is so fitting with Mother's Day approaching that we celebrate the lives of the mother, the grandmother and the great grandmother that suffered such a great loss with Kierra's death.

Kierra's great grandmother died just after Thanksgiving on November 28, 2004 at the age of 70. She died knowing that there had been no final justice rendered in Kierra's brutal passing. To YOU Gloria Brown, we send our "angel mother's day greetings".

To Amanda, Kierra's mother, and my daughter, much love on Mother's Day. No young woman should ever have to make arrangements for their child's funeral. I know in my heart that Kierra will be with you and her baby sister Karyssa on Mother's Day.

I am going to add some pictures of the 4 generations of first born's to Kierra's webpage as she left an unremovable handprint on all of our lives......!

Kierra lived a short 14 months before her life was taken violently from her and from her family.

She is with us every day in the work that we attempt to do to protect the innocent lives of children.

I would never exchange the beautiful and enriching time we had with this sweet soul for anything.

She lives through her memory and she impacts the lives of others with her angel wings and her love which is a legacy that she left behind for not only that knew and loved her, but every single person that hears about her story.

Let's honor the children and do whatever we can do to protect them.

Sweet baby, we miss you and we always will!
