About Me:
I am a broken hearted grandmother of 3, oldest: j,, now 7; youngest, Robbie, now 7 months old, and the second grandson, my Jonathan Joseph, who has been in heaven now for a lil over 4 years (with my father and sis in law, Rosie). Due to my grandson's untimely death, my son and his wife have a horrible DYFS case; DYFS (CPS: children's protective services) have court ordered me to have NO CONTACT with my surviving grandchildren since last February...My life was my grandchildren; I am fighting against DYFS and fact that caseworker lied in court over 20 times to win her little case, and will be filing complaints with attorney's ethics committee very much in the near future...DYFS would like my grandsons to be adopted by maternal grandmother, who has custody of my grandsons, thru the Foster Care Program, after the parental rights of my son and his wife are terminated. I cannot let this happen...
Tell a little about the person lost...
Dear sweet Jonathan Joseph was in our lives from the time he was born, Oct 24, 2003, until his death of SIDS on Jan 25, 2004; we all miss him so much and keep his ashes close to us... He was such a joy and is so terribly missed...his death was sudden and took us by surprise; that is the same horrible day DYFS caseworker, Susan Lennon, had 2 police officers rip my older grandson, J (then aged 3 yrs) from my arms at the police station.

I pray for Jonathan's soul each and every day, and am comforted to know that he is with my dear father, Anthony, and dear sweet Rosie. Our lives have not been the same since Jesus took our Jonathan, and stole part of our hearts...

Grandparents are taken into consideration for adoption purposes; however, if their child, the parent of the grandchild, have issues with abuse and/or neglect,(CPS Children's Protecitve Services)

then grandparents are not taken into consideration...each state is different, however, each state follows same guidelines for the taking away of children that CPS feels who are being abused or neglected by parents...

This is horrible! There are many groups within the internet, and myspace as well...so much info to tell you here...each case is different, each of our 50 states follow federal codes/laws, but neglect our Constitutional Rights regarding our children and the way CPS caseworkers testify in a court of law, under oath!!!

I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC HAS NO IDEA WHAT PROSECUTORS AND ONE GOVERNEMENT AGENCY KNOWN AS CHILDRENS PROTECTIVE SERVICES ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IN THIS COUNTRY!!!

Thank you Gail, my grandson died, CPS has taken my surviving grandchildren; CPS obtains funds from the fed government as long as my grandchildren are kept in a 'foster home,' then placed up for adoption when a judge decides that my son and wife's parental rights should be terminated...

many many parents are taking judges and prosecutors to court for allowing cps caseworkers to lie under oath, in court, just so that the cps can obtain children for their bonuses...for each child taken into 'protective custody,' cps gets 3 thousand per month; when child gets adopted, cps gets 5 thousand, then 2 thousand every month thereafter..

the children protective services is using our children to obtain money, known as funds, from our government, and all we can do is fight back.. we will appeal the decision to terminate parental rights; we will file complaints against the public (pretender) defender's office for misrepresenting my grandchildren's parents, we will file complaints against the proscutor's office (district attorney general) and we will file complaints against every corrupted judge who hears these tainted cases..

Hi my love and welcome to this community though I am so sorry you have a reason to be here. I have met a number of grandparents who are now fighting for the right to see or have custody of their little grandchildren. It seems so awful that the love of grand parents is not taken into consideration when arranging access and adoption rights. I really hope you get some success. I do know people who have been successful so please take a little hope from that. All of the trauma you have been through and are going through must have taken it's toll. Please spend a little time to be gentle and good to yourself. As always, my advice is to take it slowly, one step at a time and say some prayers too, they can work miracles.
God bless
Gail

Hello There:

Welcome to the Healing Community.

"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.

That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....

We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?

It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.

This is your site. Feel free to explore at your own pace.... and contribute thoughts, prayers, photos, music and videos as you feel is best.

I am here to help you in any way possible. If you have any questions at all...please let me know.

Eric
