About Me:
My name is Pamela Jamison Mantle. I have lived in Washington State most of my life. I am married to Tony Mantle of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. We currently live outside Snohomish, Wa. a rural community North of Seattle. I have a son Joe Mantle who is 11 and a daughter Sara who is 29. Joe dreams of being a fishing guide in Alaska. Sara is currently a barista when she isn't caring for her 3 year old son Jack and her fiancee Russ VAnWyk. My husband Tony is in Construction and I am a part-time hairstylist and also work at my son's elementary school.
Tell a little about the person lost...
We lost more than one person on Christmas Eve 2007, we lost 3 generations of the wonderful Anderson family. This is the biggest tragedy that has ever effected me or my family. We lost the future, we lost our wonderful daughter Erica, her fantastic husband Scott, my delightful #1 only Granddaughter Olivia and her baby brother Nathan.

They were all murdered by Scott's sister Michele Anderson and her boyfriend Joseph Mcenroe on Dec. 24th around 5:15 pm. Michele and Mr. Mcenroe are in jail thankfully. I feel grateful about that. That night they took the sunshine away from our lives. Erica, Scott, Olivia and little Nathan were so important in our daily lives. Erica was one of my best friends. Scott was a loving and devoted husband and father. The grandchildren were as perfect as any. Full of laughter and fun. Gorgeous people, loving and kind.

Every moment with them was a delight. They were all thoughtful and kind people. We were extremely proud of them, Erica and Scott had dated since High School. Scott was a University of Washington graduate, 6/99.

Erica was a terrific cook and baker. She worked for QFC grocery store decorating cakes, being a bakery manager and in the Accounting Dept. before becoming a full time Mom. She dreamed of having her own bakery/restaurant like Paula Deen of Savannah, Ga.Erica was a wonderful Mother, her entire life was how to make her family happy.

Olivia was only a Kindergartener, but she had a major love of music, art and dancing. She loved school and wanted to be a teacher. She had many friends at Black Diamond Elem. Her best friend is Kelsey Webb, her next door neighbor. She loved our yearly trips to the beach and had so much enthusiasim, it was contagious! Recently she had learned to swim in the big swimming pool and was proud to show off her skills in Seaside, Or. with her extended family there cheering her on!

Nathan was only 3 when he passed. He was our beautiful, blond, babyboy, with beautiful blue eyes. He was our tall, silent, Viking who chose his words carefully. He had a bright smile and was devoted to his sister Olivia. Nathan loved his cousin Jack and Uncle Joe so very Much. Nathan was especially precious to his Grandpa Tony, Grandpa was in love with Nathan from the second he held him. They both loved cars, big and small. Nathan had recently became interested in firetrucks and firemen. He had several trucks he loved and enjoyed hearing the horns go off. He would have made a fine fireman, he was a calm, sweet child. He will forever live in our hearts, never forgotten.

We also lost our daughters dear in-laws, Wayne and Judy Anderson of Carnation, Wa. They were also victims of Micele and Joe Mcenroes's wrath. Wayne and Judy were married in 1974 in California. They were very nice people. Always something good to say. Wayne was a career Boeing Engineer and Judy was a valued employee of the Carnation P.O. We enjoyed their company when we were together as a family. They treated our daughter well and were loving and devoted to their only son Scott. The Andersons had lived in Carnation, Wa. since 1980. They loved their home and family dearly.

Friends...

Well, one good thing about this entire ordeal is that we are getting in touch with old friends. We had a wonderful birthday for Jack over the weekend and we had old and new friends there. I also am finding that people who once walked by me at school are making contact now. Hard to do sometimes, but I appreciate their caring thoughts. It certainly seems it is going to take a village to make it through these next few years! We have no idea how long or when this will be over if there is a trial! Co… Continue

My 1st Mothers day without Erica!

Hard to believe this is my life now. You never realize how much you identified and depended on one person until they are gone. Tony and I were talking last friday and we both feel like we have this life and then we enter into this "movie" part of our life that isn't real. Everyday when I go to use the phone, I want to call Erica and tell her what is going on, but I know she isn't there. I know I am not alone, Kerry Erica's best friend and Sara, Erica's younger sister say they do the samething, a… Continue

Hi Pam - just saw the photos which are fabulous. You all looked so happy. I'm so glad Erica made her presence known!! You know she was there looking on as her little sister tied the knot - she looks so wonderfully happy. I'm sure the day was filled with some mixed emotions but you got through it!! Well done and hugs to you. I wish them many many years of happiness. Take care and love to you always. Gail xx

Dear Pam; I am speechless. I can not imagine how to deal with the suffering that your family has gone through. I am so sorry. If you need to talk, I am a good listener. Again, I have no words. (big hugs) Janna

Pamela,

I have another website for my mom. It is www.Charlotte-Luce.memory-of.com on this site...I have many friends who I have met. One of them is a very sweet lady who lost her grandchild to murder. Let me know if you would like to talk with her. She would not mind. The boyfriend who killed her daughter was just sentenced. She could probably give you some idea on what is to come. You may email me privately if you would wish. My email is nesey40@yahoo.com

Love ya,
Denise
