About Me:
*
My name is Lucretia McBride, I'm a forensic consultant and reside in Terrebonne Parish in southern Louisiana.

I'm located about sixty five miles west of New Orleans and a few miles outside of Houma, Louisiana USA - among the Cajun Community.

I consult as a Medicolegal Death Investigator with various Law Enforcement Agencies, Coroners and Medical Examiners.
Tell a little about the person lost...
*
My footsteps through time are not about any loved ones I have personally lost, but about the journey I find myself on with my professional work in interaction and relating to the surviving family and loved ones of homicide victims and death fatalities.

Unsolved homicides, cold cases gone frigid, the loss of a loved one through a natural or mass disaster (where no body or remains exists anymore) is a living nightmare for many families, relatives, friends and others in the community.
Perhaps sharing from my perspective can help some one else through a difficult time.

We will hold one another and realize that in God's world, none need be alone. When we suffer a… Continue

Thank you so much for the kind words. It makes it easier when we have a rough day. I have a bunch of questions, but I'll send them to you when I can face the reality of them!

Hi Lucretia, thanks for welcoming me. I think you are great. Every mother I know who have lost a child have heaps of question (including me). To get expert knowledge can help a great deal.

I will be more involved here hopefully soon. I make memorial websites for those who dont have one doing this is therapy for me as it makes me feel I am doing this in memory of Shane and the angels I make the sites for. I am in the process of making several Father;s day pages and transferring a website to a different server. My prayers are with all. hugs, dj

I will try and add more about my mother soon. This weekend two of our sons are here to visit and a number of their friends. It is a welcomed get away from the constant thoughts about mom. Those thoughts seem to be consuming much of my idle thought time and that gets me down except for the fact of knowing where she is and is happy now with her other family members. To say the least my mother was the care giving leader of our family, always heading up the planning of gatherings. At the funural almost everyone said that same thing, "Who would get things going now that she is gone"? Well more later the group is here any moment from all day on the lake. More later! Glen
