I am the daughter of divorced psychology professors, and I have never really *lived* with my father, though when my parents were married, he got his mail here and stayed with us on weekends. My mother is clinically depressed, refuses to go to therapy (insists I need it), and has been in multiple long-term abusive relationships.
I narrate my life in third person, in my head, and plan to eventually turn that into a book. I suffer from PTSD, and tend to psychoanalyze my every thought and behavior, and consider everything a symptom. I then define myself by whatever mental illness I suffer from.
I separate my life into categories of sorts. There are the few things I remember about before my parents divorced, and Tom entered my life (I was 6, so there isn't much), then, there is everything that involved Tom, and everything that didn't. The last two categories are a mottled, jumbled mess, though, and separating them just confuses me. Therefore, I can't remember what order events in my life occurred in, unless I can associate them with a grade or teacher.
I went to the largest high school in the state of Connecticut until last year, when being in lock downs after school was meant to end, and having my principal publicly announce that a bomb threat everyone had heard about never happened, really began getting on my nerves. Since then, I've been enrolled in a Sudbury school, with Markie, and seven other kids.
I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Brian Williams' wardrobe.
Tell a little about the person lost...
This is mostly about my step-father, Tom Franczak, who died of a drug overdose. My mother and I don't have much left of him, because he left us after our house was set on fire, to stay with a series of girlfriends who let him drink and drug himself to destruction. When he moved out, he took almost everything with him.
It was pretty cool coincidence when I left my local public high school for a very, very, *very* small private school, only to find Markie, the daughter of one of Tom's friends.
Of course, last year, I also lost a close family friend, Candy, after a three-year battle with a series of brain tumors. Due to the strained relationship with her family, my mother and I have been barred from visiting her two children, so in a way I also lost my little brother and sister.

I am not sure how Facebook integrates with this website. But you should be able to just save the graphics from Facebook on to your PC...and then from your PC load the images directly to your page?
Perhaps you would consider adding an image to your profile. And add an image to the Groups you created.
It is a great way to personalize your page and it helps other members know more about what your page is for. Many people like to show a photo of themselves....others prefer to show a photo of thier lost loved one.....or you may find that an artistic image like the one I have really expresses you the best. Images are easy to find on the internet....especially if you search with Google. I like to search for a keyword (for example "Angels") and at the top of the Google page you can specifically search for 'images'......most images are open and available for the public to share.
