About Me:
When we have lost someone we love, there is a way forward to love again. I read in this community that many people here have the experience of seeing lost loved ones in crowds, in passing, while driving. I believe that your senses are guiding you back into love. I understand that they are never missing from our hearts and minds.

Although I am slow to participate in this community, I want those of you who are reaching out to me to know that you are making a difference.
Tell a little about the person lost...
I have lost many whom I loved: My friends in Halifax with whom I learned to read and count; my blood sister, my best friends from childhood, the group of friends who helped me climb trees, my teachers who gave me a clean environment free from distractions, my half-sister, my cats, my rabbit, a man I loved and whom I thought loved me, my supervisor. Through love, I am starting to reunite with some of the people I have lost. And I take encouragement from hearing that people who were ill a few months ago are now recovered and working again.

Hello Jen,

I appreciate your comments and the fact that you took the time to read my thoughts in my BLOG. Like everyone here I am dealing with and overcoming the adversity that goes with losing someone you love and adore. Also, in my Hospice work I am with patients and families on a daily basis working through the same issues we openly discuss here at My Loving Tribute.

Would you mind telling me the name of the book you were referencing in your comments on the BLOG. I was unsure if it is a book that I possess or have read or if possibly it is a book you are recommending that I check into.

If you ever need me, I am a cyber second away....

Blessings,

Padre+

Hi Jen,
Thankyou for your message,
I hope anything I say helps, as I've been there,
but have managed to rise above all the heartache!
Life is too short to spend time on regrets- lets just LIVE!!!!

Hi Jen,
I too have 'lost' many loved ones, so I know how you feel
I have learned to accept that- 'Thy Will Be Done'!
We cannot see that bigger picture as our Heavenly Father does.
I suppose it would be like us explaining to ant that he is cold because it is winter, if God had to explain everything to us!! lol
You really can be happy if you concentrate on all the good things you still do have! ( this is a challenge!)
It's a case of seeing the cup half full, instead of half empty!
Losing someone who you thought loved you, is a big blow to your confidence also,
but you are a whole and perfect child of the creator, and if you ask for someone to replace him, ( be very specific about what you want)
you can be positive you will receive it!
'Ask and it shall be given to you'!!!!
Praying that you will soon 'mend your heart!
Love+Light

Hello There:

Welcome to the Healing Community.

"I am so very sorry for your loss." No matter how heartfelt they are intended. those words can feel trite or cliché... that is the problem with expressing sympathy with just words...they do not seem like they would be enough. We mean the best....but those words don't seem to be enough.

That is why I wanted to create this site. I think that over time....with words, prayers, photos, video, and heartfelt emotions....we can all express what we truly feel to each other....

We want to share that life is precious, that time goes too fast, and that we don't feel like we have nearly enough time to be with those we love. And when one of those people leave this world.... we wonder just how can we possibly get along with out them?

It is my prayer that not only can we find a way to remember those lost....but that, in their honor, we can find a way to keep making life precious.

This is your site. Feel free to explore at your own pace.... and contribute thoughts, prayers, photos, music and videos as you feel is best.

I am here to help you in any way possible. If you have any questions at all...please let me know.

Eric
